Chapelhay Community News – surveying of steps wall taking place now…

Hurrah! THE future of Weymouth’s Old Town Hall has been secured for community use after a deal was struck that will see the historic building used as an art heritage centre.

Sally just sent me this. We all know art is the way to engage and enthuse communities and now more than ever this is vital for the health of our town… Don’t let the crunch get us down, let’s see it as a challenge and an opportunity for “art” and “artists” to come to the fore and show how to live richly yet sustainably…“England’s High Streets are in danger of becoming “ghost towns” unless action is taken to fill empty shops hit by the recession, council leaders have  warned.”See full article
